Breeding Requests:
Once your avian reaches the adult stages of their life, they're able to pair up with other avians and pass on their genes to their offspring.
Both young and mature adults are able to breed- though there are a few differences between the two that will affect the outcome of a breeding. With that being said, any avian that has not reached either the young adult or mature adult growth stage cannot be bred! |
___
How often can I breed my avians?
Players are limited to a single breeding per month without the use of breeding pass.
This first breeding is free and does not cost any items or currency, but you will need breeding passes if you want to submit multiple breeding requests per month. Currently; you may use up to two breeding passes for additional rolls per month; giving you up to three total breedings each month. Use these wisely! |
___
What are breeding slots?
Breeding slots are single-use permissions to breed an avian; and you need these in order to breed your avians- even if they are yours!
Young adults are limited to five breeding slots in total; meaning they can only be bred five times before they are unable to breed again until they reach their next growth stage. You can check how many slots your avian has left with the avian slot tracker linked at the bottom of the page. Mature adults have unlimited slots! Please note that if you breed your avian as a young adult; even if you are the owner of that individual, the breeding will consume one of their five breeding slots! Breeding slots are treated like items and are transferrable to other players! If you want, you are able to exchange breeding slots to your avians with other players using the slot transfer form at the bottom of the page. You will need a breeding slot to a particular avian, or a starter slot to breed an avian that does not belong to you! |
___
Where can I check the results of my breeding?
As soon as you submit your breeding request, it will go into a queue to be rolled by a game mod.
When your breeding is rolled, depending on if it is successful or not, all offspring from that breeding will be placed into your player inventory, which you may check at any time with this link. By default, all offspring from a breeding will go into the inventory of the player who submitted the breeding request. At this time, breeding requests cannot be "split" with another player. If your breeding fails; which can happen if you are breeding young adults and/or avians of different subspecies or from different groups, it will consume one of your monthly breeding slots- but will not use any of the avian slots used for the breeding so you can try again with that avian next month. Any and all slots used in a successful breeding will be removed from the player's inventory when the breeding is rolled. |
