The Nesting Grounds:
This is the nesting grounds, where players can obtain avian eggs from wild parents.
By default, these eggs have no lineage assigned to them when they hatch, however, you are limited to claiming a single egg from the nesting site per year without egg passes. |
___
It's worth noting here that wild eggs are very basic, in terms of genetics!
You can expect hatchlings with one to three marks, and a small chance at hidden mutations- but that's about it!
The type of egg, the coloration of the individual, and the markings they have are totally random!
Active mutations cannot be obtained through wild eggs, but with hidden genes you will have a better chance of breeding the active version of a mutation once your avian reaches adulthood!

Egg Passes
Egg passes are specialty items that can be obtained through events and prompts, or bought from the Official Shop.
Having an egg pass in your inventory will allow you to submit another claim to the nesting grounds and get yourself another egg!
You may make as many additional claims with egg passes as you like, but do keep in mind that each claim will cost one egg pass; so if you are making multiple claims after your first free one, you will need that many egg passes for the claims to be accepted!
